DXV Transparency problem

Post by gabo___ »

I have some transparency animated gifs (with alpha chanel), and i want to use with resolume 4. I Convert de gifs to dxv with adobe media encore cs6. (i check the dialog box from dvx codec por preserve the alpha channel). After that i import the new mov files to resolume but a white background is instead a transparency. Hel please!

That could be a GIF problem. Gifs, as far as I know, have only a 256 color depth.
Their transparency is limited. They are not actually 32 bit files, with Alpha capabilities.

It's Adobe....I have had the same Problem..Adobe media Encoder 6 will not see alpha on the dxv... Render the files either Directly in after effects or in mpeg streamclip.. I bet you problems goes away..I use alpha's all the time.
