create pillar shape?

Question: does someone here know how to create a pillar shape out of a layer in resolume?
I want a 3D, z-rotating, simple, round pillar/tube kinda shape. (Not talking about mapping). Creating a mask will not result in the effect I want because the video won't 'bend'. I'm pretty sure this must be possible by combining a few effects, I just can't figure out how.
I hope this is understandable because it's kinda hard to explain what I mean exactly :roll:

You could try pixels in space with zero extrusion, highest resolution and shape set to cylinder.

thank you, didn't try that yet. Good enough for now! :)
wish it would be possible without the pixel effects but I think I will have to create that with other software.
