Audio from the live camera

Post by linalopes »

Hi,

I am using the blackmagic for capturing a live camera. I use the HDMI and extract the video and audio into computer, but when I put this like source in resolume, I don't have audio, just video. How to do for using the audio and the video at the same time in my projection work? Any one have an idea?
Thanks.

You won't be able to get the audio from a BMD capture card directly into Resolume. To do that you'll probably have to extract the audio from the HDMI signal before you import it into the capture card and input it into your computer via L/R audio. Here is an example of an HDMI audio extracting device: http://amzn.com/B00KBHX072

If you have a BMD capture card with a breakout cable, you should be able to get the audio from the L & R output and plug it into your computer's audio input since all the ouputs are passing the signal through on a BMD card when the capture card is in use.
