AVFFGL v FFGL

Could someone tell me what the difference between these two is please?

I had a discussion with someone the other day where they were saying AVFFGL plugins are for audio as well but that one has certainly passed me by for the past 8 years if it is true. Nice idea though.

They don't seem to be divided by sources or effects either.

What is the difference?

There is no difference, just some of the plugin file names are different.

I love it when people have convinced themselves so hard of something which isn't true, that they even manage to make other start doubting.
