HiRes PNGs crashing

During last nights content load in with the client. Resolume was crashing everytime I tried to load in image files.
All of the images were 6480x1080 PNGs. As soon as I added one to the time line Resolume crashed.

This happened on both PC and Mac running 4.1.11

Hi-Res PNG files are quite large and can be hard on Resolume

Take a look at the following post: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11441&hilit=PNG+RAM.It seems like the solution is for you to render your PNG files as still-frame DXV files but you will experience some amount of lossiness.

As an alternative, have you tried using scaled down PNG files such as 3240x540 which would be 4x smaller and scalling up in Resolume? That might alleviate your problem.
