Is there anyway to control the string field parameters of a flash clip with OSC?
Seems like you can only control float parameters.

No, this is unfortunately not possible at the moment. The ticket is in the feature bucket.

Would indeed be nice to have.

In theory you could build that functionality into your swf-- set up a custom field that you apply OSC (or midi) parameters to, and that runs a substring function.

Might be something worth building if there's enough interest...
