add transition effects?

Thank you for this forum. no petty bickering and very helpful replies.

I'm not a resolume noob...but forgetful. I guess.
searched and no quick answer...

I have a template for videoflyers I make and have a transition effect on the text layer...but for the life of me I cant remember how i added it.lol
I want to change-but stuck on this feature.
any help/answer would be great.

pretty sure I have to drag transition onto each clip(so each transition could be different)
but cant remember where I dragged the transition effect from!

you can set transition effects per layer,

click on the view menu, enable show clip transition controls.
a slider will appear on each layer, with a button on the bottom, where you can set the transition effect
