control Lighting and layer

Post by zzaptoon »

Hello, I want to use the RESOLUME program to control Lighting.

Can it be controlled only in the Layer?

I wonder if there is any program setting that will control Lighting from different Layer’s such as Layer1, Layer2 and Layer3.

thank you

Hello zzaptoon,
perhaps you should describe a little mor what you want to control by different layers......i really dont understand what you wanna do.....
You want to pixelmap ? Different Layers to different Groups of Leds ? 3 Layers on one Led ?

Thanks to your answer,
I'm not used to english, my expression would be awkward
however i have try as i can do best added relation picture

<formation>
RESOLUME5 -> ENTEC DMX USB -> 512Dimmer(address1, 17) -> Led par1(address33) -> Led par2(address49) -> Led par3(address65) -> Led par4(address81) -> moving light1(address97) -> moving light2(address113) -> moving light3(address129)

I want to 3 Layers on one Lighting
so, I set the Fixture input source to layer1 and layer2

like this,
input layer1 -> 1~16ch
input layer2 -> 1~16ch
input layer1 -> 17~32ch
input layer2 -> 17~32ch
.
.
.
.
input layer1 -> 145~160ch
input layer2 -> 145~160ch

but, Some don't do, and some are working.

and, at advanced window
after i delect layer2, then all layer1 are working well

So, i attached some photos.
Please check the attached photos whether i set correctly or not.

thank you

you can't have two fixtures at the same channels in the same lumiverse, that won't work.

do you want to use the dmx helper to control all of the lights ?
do you need video color for the pars?

Thank you for your reply.

do you want to use the dmx helper to control all of the lights ?
=> It will be acceptable that we can take "control all of the light" , if "dmx helper " is not possible.
Is there any thing else?

do you need video color for the pars?
=> I do not understand this.

hm.. i want that..
for example,
layer1 -> lighting(same) control
layer2 -> lighting(same) control
layer3 -> lighting(same) control
layer4 -> video control
layer5 -> video control
layer6 -> video control

thank you

Why are you using layer to slice routing for this?

Just let your fixtures use Composition as input. Then, if you want to use layer 1, fade up layer 1, if you want to use layer 2, fade up layer 2, etc.

Keep it simple.

Hmmm ... so when I did that , following problems shows

1. "Dmx helper example fixture image(blue image) " is being sent to the projector image.

2. When transmitting moving images , lighting eqipment moves together

So I adjusted moving images and lighting "input " set-up differently,

And I want to use more than two line that the "layer" part is in charge of the lighting
