i have had some trouble getting WIndows 10, Resolume Arena 5 DXV codec to show up in adobe products or to MPEG_Streamclip. It seems that i have not been the only one. I spent some time poking around the forums and i found a lot of solutions, just not all in one spot. So Here is my low effort tutorial of the more basic things to try.

Resolume Arena 5 installed and DXV codec not showing up in Windows (10)

Then Check to see if the file association of the *.mov file is with QuickTime under settings system default programs sort by file type. Find *.mov choose QuickTime for program type

Look in the QuickTime default location of C:\program files(x86)\Quicktime\QTsystem
Is dxv there? If not reinstall the driver only or reinstall Resolume arena 5.

Enable legacy codecs in QuickTime

Uninstall QuickTime

Reinstall version 7.7.9 QuickTime

A combination of any of these could work. That is all I could find in many different locations.

There also has been some success with installing iTunes (you don’t have to use it)

I don't profess to be an expert in resolume and windows, but having all this in one spot will help the frustration level when creating files with the DXV codec

i had the same issue ... DXV was simply not showing up under Quicktime in Adobe Media Encoder...

i just downloaded the new Quicktime, and installed it.... i also changed the permissions to allow apps full control on the QuickTime directories under c:/program files.. blah blah.... just in case there was an issue writing the codecs and reading 'em back..

i'm now up and running, and encoding all my old .movs to DXV3 ...stoked.. thank you

After the last windows 10 major update (1h hour in middle of a set (started without asking   )), MPC now works with DXV, go figures what that update did. :D
