Arena 5.1.4 Sample rate issue

Post by potain »

hello guys,

im using the arena 5 for a lot of corporate events, i have for this case Mac Pro 5.1 12 cores/r9 280x/32gb ram/sdd/ BM decklink capture cards.

when i using a videofile with 48khz audio sample rate always when play this videos in Arena5 this audio have drops, and buffering problems. if change software to 44.1khz, audio appears be better but of course the speed of the audio and video is not same, and not sync at all. I have tried other computers and other config's. and happens the same in all.

If i change the arena5 to arena4 everything is ok. Same computer and same files.

Have idea to solve this misterious problem?

what file format are you using?
can you upload one of the problematic files somewhere, so we can check them?

What works well for us is to duplicate the same piece of media into two layers, in the same column, then delete the audio track of one of them and the video track out of the second one in the media tab. Trigger the column. We have much better luck with this route.
