Hi Zoltan

another effect-bug. This time with the effect RECOLOUR

When i have Recolour on a layer with running cycle Speed (> or < 0.50) then the "effect" starts always at start.
But on the cycle Speed - Parameter, i cant set where the clip should start
So if i trigger another clip on this layer, the Recolour-Effect starts from the start.
Hope you understand what i mean ;-)
in Res5 that worked perfect.

I have a Dashboard-prob
the default-position that i have set (where i can go by clicking right mousebutton) is not save. Restart Arena loses the position.

If i understand this correctly,
you assign a parameter to a dashboard knob
you save and reopened the composition,
move the knob.
right clicking now on that knob doesn't reset the dial to the parameter's default value, but instead it resets the dial to the position where it was saved?
I can see a different behavior than in R5 in this regard on clip and layer dashboards.
Or do you mean something different?
Which dashboard and which parameter have this issue?

Sorry for my bad english
if i set a parameter (for example opacity) to 20 % an then i connect to dashboard, it goes to that position on Dash Link1.... 50 % goes to the middle position etc... This is what i meant with Defaultposition Then i change the conection to another Link and transfer also the Defaultposition. Save. And now i should always go back to this position by rightclick.
Restart Arena and the Defaultposition was on 100 %.

But now i have seen, that thats only happen if the parameter is "Envelope".... on a straight line it works. :D

The steps above is the reason, why i have always an unconect Link1. And i am using the option to "rightclick back on dashboard" very often.

PS: with changed parameters on "Dial Range" the dashboard has the same problem

I would love to see key mapping and midi mapping can be used on advance output too so that controlling slices with different layouts can be controlled on live.

There is no default position setting for a dashboard dial.
When you right click on the dashboard dial the parameter is reset to it's default value, so the dial get's it's default from the first parameter you assign to it.
The clip's Opacity parameter's default is 100% for example.
