For encoding Mpeg Streamclip should work on PC, or Adobe Media Encoder if you have it.
Sadly, Mpeg Streamclip's Batch feature doesn't work on my PC. It will on my Mac. I tried emailing but got no reply. Pretty sure Mpeg Streamclip is dead. What's out there, is what's out there lol
Works on my windows machine. What version of quictime did you install?

7.1.6 pro as well as the alternative 1.81

I did a little digging and found a way to make it work, but honestly, its way too much work for what I was use to doing on my Mac.
The codec dropdown for DXV is missing, BUT if you go under "other sources" then dig into the video settings, DXV is listed there??

Here's a screenshot of what the batch drop down looks like:

Here's a screenshot of the codec's after I had to dig through 3 sub menu's:

On my Mac it was a quick setup, as is AME, but Mpeg Streamclip doesn't seem to like my machine I guess?
I setup the DXV codecs in the x86 as well as the 64bit program files folders, still no dice :(

I think your bottle neck is your HDD.
Today i called ASUS and they don't see any problem With switching my HDD 2,5inch to a SSD but i already saw that my HDD is with a SATA connection, what do you recommend of ssd drive?

Would this do?
Samsung 850 Pro, 2 TB SSD
(Black, MZ-7KE2T0BW, SATA 600, 3D V-NAND, AES)
or
Samsung 850 EVO, 2 TB SSD
(MZ-75E2T0B/EU, 3D V-NAND, TLC, TRIM, AES)

thanks!

Pro's have a better warranty and slightly better speed (not much).
But Pro's also cost a lot more as well.
It's really up to your budget.

For me, I use my machine about 8-12 hours a day, 5 days a week, so I went pro. If you are only planning on using it a few hours a week, and plan on getting a new machine in 5 years, I think the Evo would work just fine.
