Reaolume 6 FPS differences between Mac and PC

On resolume 5 for Mac I was able to achieve 120+ fps consistenly. With resolume 6 on my Mac I can only get a max of 60 fps. I see from others posting in another thread that on pc they are achieving 120+ fps so why the huge discrepancy? This makes no sense to me why they would force Mac to only go to 60?

Is your Composition FrameRate capped at 60? Also, why are you trying to get 120?

My composition is marked auto and the maximum that auto allows is 60 FPS. I ammerely trying to replicate my resolume 5 speeds. As I’ve stated in another thread PC users are getting 120 fps and some even 140.

Composition setting range from auto 60, 50, 40, 30, 25

People get above 100 when they disable Vsync. This is not something you can do on a Mac very easily if at all.

I personally lock most of my comps at 30FPS so I’m not sure I understand the fascination for high FPS since it introduces tearing.
