sACN Protocol

Post by pette »

Hi,
maybe you tell about this, but there are any news?
At now, with Resolume 6.0.7 how can I control more led bars with sACN protocol?
Thanks

Resolume doesn't support sACN so you'll have to translate Artnet into sACN. Touch Designer would probably be the way to go for that.

Yes you could send your texture from Resolume to Madmapper via Syphon/Spout and do the pixel mapping in Madmapper using sACN protocol.

Hi,
I found the best solution
in Arena Output-> Network Streaming (NewTek NDI)
madMapper workalike a charm!
Thanks

Spout should work as well, right?

I didn't try spout,
so NDI is installed in resolute, in madmapper and this is the simplest way I get to send video signal from resolume on my mac and mad mapper on a windows system

Last time I used MM (2 years ago) it had spout. Resolume has spout as well.
Spout has less latency than NDI.

Not sure if this is an issue with your setup or not, Just wanted to throw this out there ;)

Hi,
I tried last month.
Resolume 6 send video via NDI to madmapper 3.3 to sACN Led configuration, for me no latency.
for example the strobe was in sync
