Thanks Zoltan. Rendering to dxv seems to work, but the problem occurs when I'm editting with dxv clips, adding some effects in ae..

I have problems with importing too, like flashing random frames from footage =(

Yes I just experienced some issues re-rendering some artwork in AE2019. The rendered files seem to be unstable.

Zoltan, I'll send you the 2 files I was working on directly.

Thanks!
Which Resolume version and revision are you running?
You can find these when you go into Arena/Avenue menu, and select About.

For me issues appear after 6.0.9 release. Importer from 6.0.9 seems to works OK.

Now I'm on 6.1.1 and decided not to use DXV codec in production.

As a note, I've been testing AE and AME and I'm getting similar issues with Quicktime Animation and ProRes 4444.

For a project, I had to re-render some files to slow them down 600% with frame blending and I ended up having to use Motion 5 to export to ProRes 4444 then convert to DXV3 in Alley.

Thanks, this will be fixed in 6.1.2.
Turns out, the frame prediction for decoding could cause random frames to appear.

I have a major issue with dvx3 importer inside of after effects 2019. The codec seems to import all other media clips, mp4 or prores by default as dvx3coreimport and is unable to properly read/ write these files. As a quick fix, I have stepped back to AE 2018 and the problem is gone. This seems to be a major bug that should be brought to the attention of the developers. This bug in effect renders my AE 2019 completely unusable since I am unable to to locate the codecs and properly uninstall them. For now I am sticking to AE 2018 until there is a fix.
