Ignoring defaults happens for me also, I've created a ticket (#12132)
We'll see what we can do.

Which Resolume version did you use to create your original Defaults composition initially?

Looks like this happens on clip slots where you had clips and removed them.
The newly placed clips are placed with Timeline transport.
If you switch the deck to another one and back after removing the clips, the newly placed clips will be placed with the correct transport. This should work as a workaround until we can fix this.
