Converting AVI files with Alley

Post by Gbennett72 »

Hello!

I am having some trouble converting AVI files from C4D into DXV with Alley.

My original AVI clip is 8 seconds long, however when I bring it into alley it makes the clip 371 hours long (image one) and messes up the timing.

The conversion seems to work fine with an MP4 version (image 2), however the image quality with an MP4 export from cinema is a little grainy for my taste.

Any idea what may be causing this? Is AVI not a supported file type by alley? Do I need to find a work around that involves creating a higher quality MP4?

Thanks!

Try skipping the AVI, and export to a png mage sequence instead.
You can then drag the export folder to Alley and it should play as a single clip.
