Alley doesn't recognize audio in h264+aac audio Video files.

Post by P-lab »

Hello Bonjour,
I try to convert h264+aac audio Video files, in ALLEY (last version) ,but audio is not recognised in ALLEY.
Conversion for video only is OK, but without audio (no audio case in convert parameter box).
Audio is played ok in all others players, windows media, MPC-HC, quicktime, vlc... , tested on 2 differents pc 'windows7'

Here is a small test file - 2Mo

Séquences
Vidéo : 00:00:01,201, 29,970 ips progressif, 1280x720x32, AVC
Audio : 00:00:01,151, 48 000 Hz; Stéréo, AAC

It is the same for any h264+aac export from vegas video, from youtube downloads,...

Any help ?
thanks a lot, merci beaucoup !

Your file works on both windows 10 and osx for me.
Looks like it indeed doesn't play audio on windows 7 in Alley.
We'll take a look if we can do anything about this, until that, I'd recommend to export to DXV with Uncompressed audio directly from Vegas.
You can do this via the Quicktime export.
