Midi notes options

Post by Grimm90 »

Hi , i'm trying to assign a clip to a pad on my apc40 mk1 , but i'm not getting any note options in the midi shortcuts panel ? Is this correct , i seem to remember doing this before in the same way ?

For example got a white strobe , want to map it to CH7 note D#3 , that works but i don't get any other options besides Target / Channel / Note and the midi out options.

Which note options are you missing?

For example , i map a pad from my apc40 to a FX clip or a content clip, i don't have a "piano" checkbox .
If i map a FX toggle button with the same pad, i can choose the "Piano" option.

So how doi midi assign 8 strobe clips each to a pad (not fx on layer or group) to play piano mode ?
It's weird i thought that already was possible in the past..

Some controllers got an editor which allow you to set the behaviour of your buttons & pads there, but not the apc40 mkI as far as i know

You set piano triggering behavior on the clip itself.
