Can Resolume play videos at certain time periods in the same column?

Post by hasher22 »

Hi,

I am creating animations in after effects then need to render out for resolume. Though I hit a snag.....

The reason why.. is that I have an intro then complex looping after the intro. Though my boss advised he wants the intro as 1 separate file then the loop as the second. Though, the loop cuts into the intro, it's not after.

In order for me not to send him 1 major file that is like 5 minutes which may be equal to like 3gb, Can Resolume play videos at certain time periods in the same column?

For example:
Intro Video: Start at 0:00:00:00 - Ends at 0:00:02:00 - no looping
Loop 1 Video: Start at 0:0:53:00 to 0:01:13:00 - Loops for 20 seconds
Loop 2 Video: Start at 0:01:10:00 to 0:01:35:00 - Loops for 25 seconds
Total time on-screen playing.... unknown. Could go for 2 minutes could go up to 5 minutes, that's why I need the videos to loop.

Thanks!

Yes, you can create copies of a single clip, and set the start and end points of the clips differently: https://resolume.com/support/en/video#timeline

I'd place the clips into the same layer, and would use clip or layer auto pilot to have them advance to the next clip, if needed.
