Help setting up a Show Jockey Artnet Node 4

Post by paull »

Hi, where can I find help on how to set-up a Show Jockey Artnet Node 4 to run a Show Tech Pixel bar 12 (once I have that running, I hope adding more fixtures should be fine.....)

I have tried changing the IP address as suggested in you help files (please see images)

Also contacted the guys at ShowJockey and got sent a strange video with lots of Japanese writing, which did not really help.

Pulling my hair out. I thought ArtNet was rock solid and easy to set-up

In your last screenshot, the lumiverse destination ip needs to be the ip of your pixel node instead of the ip of the machine.
Currently you're sending back to your computer.

That's because you're not sending to the light's IP from the Lumiverse.
Try Broadcast if in doubt about the IP.

How do I find the the light's IP to target from the Lumiverse?

Is this to do with the Show Jockey video where they push a screwdriver into the hole by the power cable on the Artnet Node 4?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjKiY4wC7-o

Will the IP then show up in the list of Target IP for Lumiverse 1 which currently says:

No Output
Broadcast
IP Address

2.0.0.10 Arena Desktop

Its all starting to make sense....I think, thanks for your help so far.

If you haven't changed the IP, it might be still the default.
They say and show it in the video you linked: 192.168.1.200
Try resetting the device as shown in the video.

Then you need to set your computer to the same network range, for example 192.168.1.100.
After that's done to restart Resolume, and set the Lumiverse output to 192.168.1.200.

If you still can't find it, try a network scanner tool, or contact the manufacturer of the device.

Hi Zoltan,

All sorted now thanks to Jodge at Show Jockey, despite time difference and language barriers. We Whats apped and video linked and sorted it.

Like I said I was nearly there....

The ArtNet 4 needed a hard reset and then the IP sent to my PC. This was done using a nail pushed through the hole as shown in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjKiY4wC7-o

Once done the Art Net showed up in Resolume, but at IP 192.168.1.10
