Help With Adding Fonts

Resolume Avenue 7 will not add new fonts for the text block or animator.

I had no issues what so every with v6. I simply installed the fonts and they would populate as an option. Now, with 7, no matter what I try I cannot seem to add new fonts as an option. The font list is only the default windows fonts.

I am on a windows 10 machine. I have tried installing the fonts in the user and main font folders. I have tried clearing the "altas" directory. I am simply dumbfounded now.

To install the fonts, double click on the font file, and choose Install for All users of the machine.
After a Resolume restart, your fonts - if supported - should show up in the text source's list.

Was about to post that a lot of my fonts are missing in Res. I guess I never "installed for ALL users". Works now. Must install for ALL users from here on out. Love easy solutions.

We're working on this, so you won't have to do workarounds like this

Iw anted to use this font but such an algorithm did not help me to install fonts - double click on the font file, and choose to Install for All users of the machine. It means that my fonts are not supported or maybe there is another problem because I would like to add some interesting fonts.

Works for me on both mac and PC.
Which Resolume version are you using?
