Hi ! In one of compositions, the video uses to be turned offf for 5 seconds without any reason. I created a new one with the same clip but the playing clips are still turning off every 1 or 5 minutes. My screen just turns black and then my clips appear again. Do you know what's going on ? The problem is that in another différent composition it doesn't hppen.

What kind of clips are you using?
Drivers up to date?

They are clips in .mov, between 10sec and 1 minute, that I convert in Alley with the standard settings. Do you think that it could be a problem with a format of a clip ? Have you already faced that ?
I am not sure that is a software problem but more a composition problem. At total, I have 4 compositions and just one has this problem.

How about the GPU driver versions?

I have a Macbook with 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7. I always have done my gigs with it before, and it never fails. This problem just happened suddenly. The weight of my composition with this problem is 1,6 Mo.

Is the whole built in display going black or only the composition preview?

Which GPU do you have in your macbook?

My GPU is Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 1536 Mb.

It's my whole Output Monitor which turns black, I can see it on the screen inside Resolume (the one on the bottom left, above the preview monitor) and the screen projected. Well, there are the same "output monitor". But I can still click on the loop, see the panels, as if I was still playing.
It's like I am putting a black video for five seconds and then come back to my previous loops, but without taking control of this "black video".

Hmm, do you see the built in macbook display flashing too?
Maybe it's the display cables, or a bad connection, can you try different cables ?

No it's only inside the software Resolume. My macbook doesn't have any problem I can see. I don't think it's a cable problem because it happens also when I don't connect it to a projector.

The problem is more about the diffusion on the Output Monitor, whereas I connect my laptop or not.

What do you do right before the output goes black, and do you need to do anything to get it back, or does it come and go without you touching your machine or midi controller?
