Resolume 7.3 Vulkan

Post by Holm »

Hi,
i have installed Resolume 7.3 on two computers with older hardware.
In both cases I received the following error message:
Vulkan Runtime installation failed whit error code: 225 .
What does this error message mean, everything seems to work normally.

Thanks

Try downloading the installer again from our download page, and re-installing with that ;)

Hi,
I did it like this (just like before), but I get the same error message.
The used hardware is really not fresh anymore,
one X79 board with i7 3820 and two GTX 660.
I just want to make sure that everything works stable anyway.
For smaller projects the computer is sufficient, I don't have to throw it away.

Hmmm, could the GTX 660 be too old for the vulcan runtime?

Do you have the latest nvidia drivers installed?

Can you try the Latest Runtime installer from here: https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home ?

Hi Zoltán,
the latest drivers are installed, I followed your advice to install the runtime.
But the error message still appears.
It can't be the gtx 660 alone, because I have a second PC (X99, I7,GTX 970) with the same problem.
Could Win10 updates be a cause, the computers were last updated at the end of march?

Hmm, could you send us a screenshot of the nvidia driver's System info page?

Meanwhile, try the older 7.2.1 release form the bottom of our download page. That should install fine without the Vulkan stuff.

Sorry for taking up your time. The error was in my Win10 installation, Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 was missing. The tip was on the page of a game manufacturer,
I could have found it sooner.
If I ever need it, what email address should I have sent the screenshots to?

Thanks

Windows 10 enterprise ltsc 2019 and VULKAN error

Post by Electroguepard »

Is windows 10 enterprise ltsc 2019 ok?
I know that has some "cuts" in order to improve stability and also cuts the updates, but is it ok with Resolume?
I'm having stability issues and the installation of Resolume is showing VULKAN error. Graphic drivers are updated. I never had such error before.
I will recheck again that windows itself has all the updates.
Any idea?
Thanks.
