Enabling Spout output crashes Avenue

Post by GroovinDJ »

I've just recently started sending the Resolume Avenue output to VirtualDJ - well I should say "trying to" because every time I enable the Spout output option, within a minute or so, Resolume Avenue crashes.

This happens whether VDJ is running or not. It seems that just enabling the Spout output causes it.

As I'd just installed the latest Resolume build, I thought maybe it was a new bug, but I've reinstalled 72951 and it's made no difference. Crash city.

You should have a whole pile of crash reports.

[update] On advice from Lynn Jarvis (leadedge) I have turned off DX9 in SpoutSettings.exe and so far so good. Lynn says it's a memory leak.

Yes, DX9 mode is not working nicely.
