Save all settings and compositions in a folder

Post by LJ2F »

Hi everyone !

I'm trying to save my project, preset, comp and so on.
I've created a folder in my local drive My PC > Local drive (D:) > "Resolume folder"
Then, I go to Arena > Preferences > General > Record Directory > Browse "Resolume folder"
Next, I save my composition (save as) and I save my interface presentation (view > layout > save).

But, nothing got saved in my folder. My project .avc and my interface .xml have been saved in My PC > Local drive (D:) > Documents > Resolume Arena 6 ...

What I am doing wrong ??? Is there a hidden setting ???

Thanks a lot !

For things like advanced output and shortcuts, you will need to transfer those manually.

Hi Arvol, thank you for your answer.

So, by default, Resolume creates, saves and writes its owns files in the "documents" folder.
And there’s no way to change this location. If I want to use my settings on another computer, I just have to copy and paste my files into this new "document" folder too.
So, my settings will automaticaly appear when the software will be opened on this new computer ?

Thanks again for the help

Correct, If you just copy the entire following folder:
C:\Users\*Your Username Here*\Documents\Resolume Arena

And paste that folder into the new computers documents folder, and then do the media manager export in the link from my last post, that will get you a 1:1 copy on the other computer.
