copy effect to a clip on another deck

Post by p8guitar »

I understand that it is only possible to copy an effect by dragging and holding ctrl / alt, right?
But how do you copy an effect to a clip on another deck? I would expect that when I drag the effect to the deck, then the deck would open and I could place the effect on the clip in this deck. but this doesn't happen.

You can copy the clip that has the effect/s that you want by right clicking and selecting 'copy' (or ctrl+c or whatever), then select another clip, on whatever Deck, and right click and select 'Paste Effects'.

You can also hold down Ctrl and drag the FX you want to copy and it will copy it that way

Cool, I wasn't aware that you can do this. This solves my problem :)
