That is a nightmare! Do these problems occur with decks created with 2.41 or are they created with 2.3?

hmmm- just tried it for a while with brand new decks made with 2.41 and no problems yet.
Not sure how long that will last ! ;)

Will let you know how i get on, and try to make all new decks (might take a while!)

have you changed something relevant to the decks ?

thanks guys

yes we have changed some things in the deck files in version 2.4 and we did not have any problems loading decks from 2.3 but as your case proves, there might always be a case that goes wrong so it,s better to be save an create your decks with 2.41.

Im having a similar problem, but have only ever used 2.4. Resolume will only load about 4 decks, then it stops. Sometimes decks that i have made earlier in the day will not load whilst at a gig - at all, though they worked ok when i created them. It seriously affecting my ability to perform. Its happened on 2 different machines - one a dell 2.8ghz, 1gig ram dual core desktop, and also a dell 1.8ghz, 1 gig laptop.
It shouldnt be a memory/CPU issue, its worked fine in the past.
Any solutions to this? Last night i had to make to with just three working decks, and had to manually load up individual files for the rest of the bands set. not good..

Loading decks for past versions and changing some videos and then re-save with 2.41 works?

I have tons of decks here and will be a pain in the neck to rebuild them :/

In case its of use to anyone...
At my gig on friday - i stuck to loading only a maximum of 4 decks. And I had no problems with changing decks! (except when i loaded in a corrupt swf file and the whole thing froze, it went blue, projector menus, red face, just as the headline act came on - but that was my own silly fault!)
Next time im going to risk it and try it with five...:)

Im still getting this problem...

I open resolume now and can only load onto 3 decks!!
and half way through a set the other day most of those stopped me loading decks onto them, rendering resolume pretty much useless.

Is there a way to remove resolume ? registery entries and all? For a fresh install? At the mo a resintall does nothing........

load a deck at a time

Post by Stickman »

I've had problems loading decks when trying to load multiple decks in one go,

ie, highlighting 8 decks and then dragging them to a deck tab.

The decks all work when loaded individually (ie, one at time).
