Continued developement of 2.41

Post by VJ Nexus »

Will there be any continued developement or features for 2.4? Maybe a 2.42? I don't particularly like the layout and lack of previous features in Avenue, and 2.4 still seems to have a more friendly and faster interface. I will continue to tinker with r3, but know that i will be using 2.41 for gigs for at least some time.

Or is this the final move away from 2.4x? That would make me sad...

yes, but i think it's not worth working on an very old code ;)
but some features would be very nice like:
all 8 freeframe parameters
clip drag & drop in the decks
effects on layer
and so on ;)
but i think when Resolume 3 is running stable and the FreeframeGL effects are equal to the old necessary ones it's the best alternative with more Features... can't wait for multiscreening ;)
