Windows 7 64bits + Resolume Avenue

Post by SystemD »

Hi,

Avenue works well with Windows 7 but i can't read my loops encoded with Indeo 5.1 with avenue 3.01. because i can't find a codec pack for this OS.

an idea ?

Thanks

Sadly, it's time to convert your clips to another format. There is no current or noted planned 64 bit support for Indeo. Intel (the creator) no longer supports it at all. Ligos http://ligos.com/index.php/home/products/indeo/ says 32bit support only and no beta windows 7 support. There's much better choices out there now ;)

PICVideo Motion JPEG Codec version 4 http://www.accusoft.com/picvideomjpeg.htm does support 64bit, and see no reason why it wouldn't work, but have not personally tested it in win7.

Luck in your quest!

the indeo codec runs fine on XP64... so it's not "really" about the 64Bit i think!
