Two Korg NanoKontrols can work together?

Post by Godzil »

I am trying to set up two Korg NanoKontrols controllers in R3.2.
Both assigned with different numbers in Korg Kontrol Editor and works just fine separated but not together.
Somebody can tell me what i'm doing wrong? Or maybe it's simple impossible?

Yes, it's possible.

Actually I'm using 1 NanoKONTROL+2 NanoPAD and a BCR2000.

Normally you only need to install KORG drivers, remember to assign different NOTEs and CC, and above all remember to assign different Global MIDI channels to each hardware.

Also try to set and use two different scenes on each NanoKONTROL; and with a MIDI-conversion software (or just in Resolume), checks that the MIDI inputs are detected different.

mmm :?

Try this experiment:
-Use only 1 NanoKONTROL and set the 1st and 2nd scenes (Scene 1 and Scene 2) with different NOTEs an CC.

-Now map Resolume using the two scenes and make sure everything works fine.
Quit and disconnect the first NanoKONTROL.

-Now connect the second NanoKONTROL, open the KontrolEDITOR, and set it equal like the first (should be enough to re-write the same datafile).

-Enable it in Resolume and checks that works both scenes.
If it works, try to reconnect also the first NanoKONTROL and try to use a single scene on each device.

If it still does not work, we think about Plan B.

I have tried dozens of combinations but only first connected controller always worked in Rezolume.

Well... What's in plan B? ;)

Did you get it to work since your lasts posts? And what was the magic trick?
I have them both set on different channels and different CC/notes in the editor, but when I open resolume it always recognizes only 1 controller :( dont know what to try anymore!
