How to make the active clip the master clip?

Post by tanya »

Hey guys,

I hope this makes sense. I want to use an APC-40 as a controller for Resolume. I want to set up the grid (the clip launch area) to trigger video clips, so that there are 4 layers and 8 columns of clips. The problem that I'm having is that I only want to show one clip at a time - I do not want to layer two or more clips. In other words, once I trigger a clip, I want that clip to override all other clips, so that it becomes the master clip, no matter what layer or column it is in.

It seems to me that this should be easy to do, but I've been wracking my brain for a while now trying to figure it out. Any ideas would be great!!

Thank you!

Just set the trigger target to "Active Layer", than you can trigger any clip in any row to the previous selected layer.
