Chroma Key in Resolume 4

Post by zejuju »

(first, sorry for my english...)
So you confirm we can find the Chroma Key in Resolume Avenue 4 as well as in Arena ?

But I was wondering if you have a final date to give us to know when all the bugs will be fixed so we can use it without any problem, I know it can be hard to have a precise final date but if you have just an idea if it's possible.
Because for now I'm working on Resolume 3 and i'm very happy of it, but for next set, the chroma key is the only thing I'm missing cos i shoot all my footage with green back. I found the nice color key FFGL 1.5 FX plugin by Rene about this subject but it's not sadly good enough, but thanks for developping it.
May be you will add this plugin in resolume 3 in the future ? ;)

It's called "ChromaKey". Double check the path to the VFX in the Preferences/Video tab.

There is also the Chroma Key plugin from Matias Wilkman, which can be found here:

Thanks Rene for answering to Damien.
I tried to add the "ChromaKey" bundle in my Resolume 3 after downloading the one from Matias, I did double check the path to the VFX in the Preferences/Video tab (even create a separate folder to charge this only Chromakey plugin) but it never appears in my effects, even after shutting and starting Resolume again.
Have I miss something ?
Thanks for your help. It's the first time I add another VFX other than the one in Resolume.

Hello zejuju,

You could just copy the .bundle to the Resolume vfx foler: /Applications/Resolume Avenue 3.3.3/plugins
After restart you should see the plugin in the Effects Tab. If not, check the Resolume log file.

thanks Rene for your help. But this crasy :) I never see it appear, I tried several times as you said, even redownload the plugin thinking it could be corrupted, but no... And the log files says :

load plugin: /Applications/Resolume Avenue 3.3.3/plugins/vfx/FFGLLumaKeyInverse.bundle/Contents/MacOS/FFGLLumaKeyInverse
load succeeded

Life is crasy ;)
Thanks anyway.

I doubt that this is the plugin you've downloaded. Search for the filename of the bundle.
