Hi I'm currently working on a match for live patch to sync tempo across the air from Ableton to Resolume 3. I've managed to sync tempo ramps spot on but my current stumbling block is marrying the 1's on both machines.
My current thinking is to use the resync command and firing it before the 1 on the Ableton side to allow for over the air latency. I am finding that if I fire just one resync command, the resync button button momentarily flashes yellow but doesn't actually do anything, as if I'm not 'holding the button down' long enough, so the only way I'm getting it to properly engage is with a uzi 35, which effectively sends the message 35 times in rapid succession. I am firing /playbackcontroller/resync/ 1
BTW is there anyway of doing a resync mid clip with out making the clip restart?
