Speed slide bug on BETA 2 but not on BETA 1

Post by ronambonfim »

The clip speed slide jumps it's value from 1.0 to around 1.43 just by clicking with mouse button using BETA 2, I use to reach sync of parts of the video on live performance when band are not plugged with video. And became a mess to fallow the sync again. :?

The strange part is that do not happen using BETA 1. Made me to downgrade to reuse Beta 1 again even with the minor bugs.

hmm again a ticket i can't seem to reproduce, annoying to say the least.
The speed slider that is mentioned is that the main speed slider of a clip in the clip property panel?
And are you guys using video/ audio or audio/video clips?

for me, its on win 7 - the main speed slider in the clip panel. it happens with a dxv clip with no audio.

just had a further investigation on this - i can get it to happen on sliders other than the speed slider. i notice that the width of the clip panel makes the amount of offset change when you left click. i just had it with the width / height / scale / rotate / anchor sliders.

interestingly, in beta 1, ( the above results were with beta 2 ) it doesnt happen to the rotate or anchor sliders, but still happens to the others.

Happens to me on scale for all three tabs (comp, layer, clip) and width & height for clip, too.

Sorry for being sloppy, I didn´t mentioned, but... I am using on win 7 64, happen on the clip property panel and I was using with many kinds of videos... only videos, video and audio, and also with a video and external audio dropped inside. I noticed only on the Speed Slider, but didnt try on others sliders.

But on BETA 1 works... During a gig, I closed beta 2 and opened beta 1 with the same project and clip, and worked well. :)
