Future upgrades & preferences

Post by ecin »

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but it would be great if there was a preference file that stored midi and keyboard shortcuts. This way, everytime theres an upgrade, we don't have to set evrything up again. I swear I've setup my shortcuts a dozen times or more.

nice upgrade :) thanx guys!

Very good idea. More saving abilities all round would be ideal really.

yes this is certainly a good idea,
we haven't got around to build a flexible solution for this. right now we added new shortcuts and new settings on each version we released, this way the settings files are not compatible. we hope we can skip to an xml based way of storing the settings. this way it's easier to manage and for the user to change.
it's on the to-do list.
till then you can allways make a copy of your shorts.ff and prefuser.fff files for different setups.
