[fixed] MPD26 map problem

Post by l'enregistreur »

Hello!
I have a problem with the maps of my MPD26 in res3.
The midi maps in some of my comps are acting strangely.
Some of the keys (often c-1/pad9) are launcing others messing up the mix...
Do anyone had this problem before and have a tip to fix that up?

thanx!

It sounds like there is a shortcut active in another mapping mode as well. Have you checked if the Composition Midi map and/or the layer and deck focus don't have double shortcuts in them?

I am having this same issue with the MPD26. Digging into it now, Seems to only happen on Resolume, Set the MPD to Generic/ blank or GM drum presets it still does it, but a bit different notes.

Found the issue for me, had some application midi mapped that my composition midi was mapped to. I believe it was the default midi map from R4, I think, it happens to have "application" midi mapped by default for layer 1, those notes mapped happen to be the same ones the MPD was sending. Clearing out the application mapping fixed it.
