iterate- translate z not working

Post by mowgli »

I'm making a composition using the iterate effect but the sliders for translate z and Dtranslate z don't seem to be working at all, they do nothing. Any clues? thanks

Indeed these sliders have no effect. You can create the look they would have with the scale sliders, but I'll make a ticket to either remove them or make them work.

It's 7 years later and this hasn't been fixed!
While we're at it, rotate Z on iterate distorts the content, why is that? There's more than a rotation going on, when you expect a circle to appear after rotating an iterated object, you get an oval. Very frustrating when you're doing specific generative stuff.

The rotate transforms to fit the iterations in the texture.
