sol - open source alternative reSOLume interface

Post by pussinboots »

hi, here is the release of a project i've been working on for a while

https://github.com/pussinboot/sol/

see the wiki (https://github.com/pussinboot/sol/wiki) for setup/dev instructions, you'll need python 3 and ffmpeg

if you're like me and use a lot of clips when vjing, then resolume doesn't really cut it unless you have a midi controller with hundreds of buttons U ´꓃ ` U

sol works in conjunction with resolume and acts like a database for all of your clips. it lets you tag them, search them, organize into collections etc. some other added features are animated thumbnail previews, multiple sets of loop ranges, bounce (ping-pong) looping and saner midi configurations.

all communication is done through osc so it should be easy to extend. code is MIT licensed.

hmu here or on github if you need help or find a bug.
