Snow Effect - What is View X/View Y?

Post by lightbx »

SSIA - What's going on here?

When I automate the View X and View Y parameters of the Snow effect, it looks beautiful. I'm interested in how this is happening. Developers, care to explain?

Is the Snow effect rendering a 3D world of sorts, wherein the View X/View Y parameters rotate a camera's viewport?

That’s awesome! Is this similar to Cube Tiles or Stingy Sphere (with size at max, and zoom af max)?

Would love to see more effects wih 3D options like this. Maybe I’ll look further into this FFGL business...
