OSC from QC to Resolume

Post by sleepytom »

I'm trying to get resolume to respond to OSC sent from Quartz Comps - i'm having no luck with it, though i've been able to get resolume to respond to issadora sending osc.

can anyone tell me which settings i need to make in QC to get resolume to hear the osc?

Does it not work when you play the patch in Resolume? Or does it never work, even from QC itself?

got it working - not sure what the problem was - probably data types or bundles setting i think.

sending to resolume from QC patches running in resolume works fine so stage 1 of sleepytoms pisspoor column sequencer is go :)

I've attached a zip of this comp if anyone wants to try it. It lets you sequence column triggering in resolume, providing a functionality somewhat akin to end actions in abelton live.

let me know how you get on with it.

Hey SleepyTom
Trying to get your avenue sequencer working for a small project I have in mind. I am having trouble with it. I have OSC enabled in preferences, Your read me says set the input slider to BPM sync. Its probably totally obvious but I am having difficulty finding this. In the sleepytomcolumsequencer clip properties I have set the transport to BPM sync and the trigger to BPM sync, I have set the track index but still no stepping . . any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
