Organize your footage

Post by Daniel »

How do you people organize your footage? You put it on a external SSD or do you put it within your Resolume Documents folder (for easy transfer)? Any tips?

I'm pretty sure resolume runs slower when your data is on an external hard drive. I put a 500gb Samsung 840 SSD in my laptop and its lightning fast.

I use an SSD on the laptop.
It's the same SDD of the system and it runs perfect.
If I have videos on the second HDD drive, if there is for long time I haven't charged a video from there, when it goes to read, the systems freezes for 3 seconds...

I think some people use Adobe Bridge... Simple folders with good names are all you need really.
