hi all,

if there's a need to keep track of the timing from an external audio (example, in a live performance), is there a way to have a "stopwatch function" in resolume?

example song starts, stopwatch begins 00:00
at 00:20 (i need to press layer1 clip1)
at 00:30 (change to layer1 clip2)

in this way, the stopwatch is used a "general" reference marker to use videos to accompany a live performance

thanks

I dont realy understand what you are doing there or want to achive as result...

Are you talking about timecode?
What do you want to start automatic at what time and what do you want to do automatic.

Maybe some places you find something that help you ist "fader start" and "autopilot" (with a dummy clip and a fixed duration)

This sounds like an automated process. Quick answer is no, you can't do it specifically that way in Res.

A good option is to use a sequencer that triggers it for you.
If you got a Mac you should check Vezer : https://imimot.com/vezer/
For Windows : https://ossia.io/

Thank you all

It's actually more to keep track of the performance timing. I don't need the clips to be timed exactly because it's also dependent on audience participation, but just a rough approximate of what timecode I am within the background music.

Will go check out ossia too :)
