Beginner Question

Post by Darwin22 »

Hello! I want to learn professionally draw vj loops and also work as live vj. Where do I begin? What programs should I work with and which ones should I study?(except Resolume arena, Cinema4d, AE)
Maybe I should take any training courses?

If you're in the states, most (free) library cards get you access to all of Lynda.com training videos.
You might look into that.

I would start with AE and once you get 2D compositing down, then move over into a 3D software like C4D.
For 2D generative visuals GLSL would be a great path to go down.
