to make everything black (or any other colour) at once you could have a black picture in your deck and insert that in the top layer as soon as you need to go black.

Well bart's solution is not completely flawless.
What if you top layer i set to a let's say 50% opacity.
Then you would still see the layers beneath.

Another solution is this, assign a note to the Treshhold effect. And set it's value to a default of 255 (set it to 255 and press the floppy disk button). This way everything should go black when you trigger the effect.
And triggered again (toggles on/off) everything will be visible again without losing settings of the layers.

Cheers
Edwin

Hi there,

What is the floppy disk button you speak of lol? I can only get piano mode flash button to work but not a "toggle" in Normal mode. Also, when I do this I can only get it to black out 1 layer, how do i get the blackout to assign to all layers? Thank you

This thread is from 2005 :) I suggest to start a new thread and explain what you want to do there.
