Legal Questions / Use of VJ Loops

Post by He2neg »

Hey Folks,

when i have a bunch of legaly owned vj loops and now a friend asks me to build kind of a music video for him.
He want to use this on youtube and may even earn some bucks with ads

Is this allowed or are the vj loops just for live use and not for this kind?

Some of the Clips i bought in the resolume shop and some via gumroad... also i have a lot of free content, some offered free at some point from various webpages some as gift for chrissmass or black friday etc etc...

i never had some sort of legal doc delivered with the footage and i never looked for any hint...

sooo you may can shine some light on this topic (at least for the content from the resolum store ;))

Thanks all
