alpha channel transparency

Post by topgun »

Does Resolume support alpha channel transparency ? I tried compressing my video with Indeo 5.1 with transparency from After Effects but the video seemed only 10% transparent when played in Resolume.

indeo says it does... but if you ever try exporting from AE with an alpha channel, and re importing it, there isnt one present, at least not one that AE recognizes.

i found that a TGA encapsulated .mov file kept an alpha channel, but resolume does not read the 8bit channel.
