ultimate laptop

ok i've had enough of lugging my pc around to venues and i'm about to invest in a laptop...any suggestions on what would be the ultimate laptop to run resolume and other avi programs on?

Forget them vaioÂ´s.... not powerfull enough... as yet.

A Toshiba Satellite 1800 does the job for me! itÂ´s a fast and powerfull laptop with dv-in and a super-VHS output for your projector... it also has a lot of extra slots for harddisks and stuff and a couple of USBÂ´s... although i canÂ´t use more than 1 channel... but that might be resolumes fault... ;Ã¾
