Not sure if this fits with the rest of the thread, but we've been having some fun lately with mapped/masked projections in Arena driven by cues from a Chamsys MQ100 lighting console over Artnet, with an eye to integrating mapped projection into a rock tour later in the year.

This one's just a quick proof-of-concept, using a couple of static image files, two Flash loops and commands from the lighting console to handle all the rest of the animation (timing, layer sizing, X+Y placement within the Arena map etc). Sort of a roundabout way of using DMX to create motion graphics!

Lots of fun!

Here is a project that I have been working on for a while that I just finished. The majority of it was done in After Effects and Cinema 4D, with the final mapping being done using the advanced output feature of Resolume Arena (4.0.1). My composition before being mapped out was 800x1800 (the output resolution/projector resolution was 800x600) and I think I had somewhere around 28 slices. This project was originally made for my friend's senior recital.

Permanent installation for a club using Arena. Everything running stable for 3 months now. Resolume Arena is rock solid when using proper hardware!
