As a bit of a departure from the norm of doing projections at events, our video editor wanted to use projection mapping as the backing for a video.

I was happy to oblige as he creates a lot of our content for live Resolume use and it is nice to try something new.

We used two projectors with soft edging, and had the pipework, windows, and doors mapped accurately. I had to do a fair bit of tweaking in Arena to get things to line up.

What was pretty mental was that when we did the test projections, there was a street light flooding the wall which reduced the impact of the projections. We debated climbing the pole and putting a bag over it.
When we came back to do the filming we found that it was off. I presume the bulb had blown.

Last video mapping work for Absolut Vodka. It´s a permanent installation running with Resolume Arena and a XGA projector. All the content was made with after effects and cinema 4d. Check it out!
